SODO, a mixed-use development south of downtown Orlando began for Hoar Construction as a large 16-acre sitework project. Once Hoar completed sitework, construction of the buildings and parking garages began. SODO contains approximately 330,000 square feet of retail, 70,000 square feet of restaurant and boutique space, 300 luxury apartments, and three large parking garages. In addition to all sitework, Hoar Construction was responsible for approximately 170,000 square feet of the retail space and a parking garage with space for 487 vehicles.
