Located in one of the highest per capita income cities in the country, Hoar understood that “industry standards” for this high end mixed use project were not good enough; the final product needed to be flawless. The key to successfully achieving this was the way Hoar organized and managed this project. Realizing that a “one project” approach would create far too many logistical challenges, our concept was simple: approach it as several projects instead of one mega project. Keep it small. Keep it simple. To successfully achieve the client’s vision for this mammoth project was a daunting task. Hoar assembled a core team of field and project management staff who had experience in large complex sites. We then divided the construction into 7 smaller projects and staffed each according to need. We put more than $10 million of construction in place for 12 consecutive months and completed this unique project meeting all of the owner’s goals for quality, cost and schedule.
