Spain Park High School

Spain Park High is a 346,000 square foot school built on approximately 100 acres to accommodate 2000 students in grades 9 through 12. Besides classrooms, it includes various science and computer labs, a library and media center, a cafeteria, band and choral rooms, visual and performing arts classrooms, and a performing arts center. The 700 seat state-of-the-art auditorium is equipped with electronic curtains, a full compliment of theater lighting and sound, room for prop creation and storage, three choral training rooms, an orchestra training room and the necessary equipment to develop and present highly professional productions. The project also included a full complement of athletic facilities – 9 different ball fields, a competition gymnasium, a PE gymnasium, weight training rooms and other associated physical conditioning facilities. Hoar provided program management for the project serving as the Owner’s representative reporting directly to the Superintendent and the Board. Five separate prime contractors were involved in the project.
