Butler Snow’s 100,000 SF offices occupy four floors of the Renaissance 200 building, including the penthouse. They include multiple conference rooms and a library, and feature custom millwork, stone wall panels and floor tiles, leather wall tiles, Sycamore veneer wood doors, and state-of-the-art audio and video technology. The imported stone, high-end wood veneers, and custom millwork and wall coverings made Butler Snow’s substantial completion date tightly dependent on our procurement strategy; we tracked the purchase of long-lead items as closely as we tracked construction tasks. We focused on early and intense coordination with the architect on finishes selection to ensure materials delivery would not adversely impact the project timeline. Procurement and delivery status was monitored at least weekly and the schedule updated accordingly so sufficient manpower could be on site when materials arrived.
