Mike Kemp Named to Top 40 Under 40 by Birmingham Business Journal

Congratulations to Mike Kemp on being selected as one of the Top 40 Under 40 by the Birmingham Business Journal (BBJ). According to Joel Welker, President and Publisher of the BBJ, this “honors the best and brightest individuals under the age of 40 in the Birmingham business community.” Mike joined Hoar in 2001 and through hard work distinguished himself as a leader both inside and outside the company. One of our clients called him a “quiet giant” and commended him for his dependability, thoroughness, and proficiency in producing excellent results.

Mike is active in a number of local community programs. Working with Team Focus, he mentors fatherless young men, he works with Mission Birmingham, an organization that assists smaller churches with their administrative organization, and he worked on the Sankofa Society Committee that was instrumental in establishing the first African American Art Gallery at the Birmingham Museum of Art.
